Luminous Lilac

After getting warmed up for painting some new Ethereals, I began to envision beautiful pinkish purple and violet tones. I knew (and felt) that using these colors would express my sentiments in that moment. I boldly mixed up the colors and then added them to the wet surface of the watercolor paper. I felt so so exhilarated afterwards and titled it "Luminous Lilac".

Night Fire

This Ethereal painting was inspired by one of my fire meditations. The flames inside the pot created this enchanting fusion of deep and rich colors, and I knew I had to replicate the image and feeling from it. So here's "Night Fire", a tribute to this fire ceremony, and the beauty and uplifting energy it can create

Caribbean Carousel

I was in a festive mood when I was creating this Mandala, and I think those feelings transferred into this colorful, carousel-like image. Its shapes and hues also reminded me of my homeland Jamaica, hence the name "Caribbean Carousel".

Crimson Flame

I was inspired to create this Mandala by the Thanksgiving season, and wanted to portray the essence of giving that this holiday is all about. Once completed, I saw images of burnt orange and red flames emanating from it, and chose the name "Crimson Flame" as this was the feeling that it gave me.

Red Dust

Some years ago I spent a few weeks in Taos, New Mexico where I was completely blown away by the big skies and the beautiful landscapes. This Ethereal was inspired by one of the many amazing vistas there with its colors of pinkish red and cool blue. I therefore decided to name it "Red Dust".

Ethereal Sunset

One day I was playing around with some new watercolors and created this interesting fusion of warm hues. They immediately reminded me of a beautiful, soft sunset melting into the horizon and this Ethereal painting was named accordingly.

Wildfire

One fall morning while on my walk, I saw the most stunning leaves that were glowing with color, primarily hues of red. Blowing in the breeze, they reminded me of red flames, and I was inspired to create this Mandala that reflected their striking colors, so I named it "Wildfire".

Dusky Dream

This watercolor painting “Dusky Dream” also belongs to the Dream Trio Ethereals. It reflects some of the colors of precious jewels, however, with more of a dusky hue, hence its name “Dusky Dream”.
